This is interesting.. yea I hadn't noticed..
However what I have noticed - there are far fewer birds than there used to be.. you used to see them everywhere, and now when you do see or hear them they are tiny.. haven't seen a big black crow or raven in maybe a decade.. something's definitely going on and nobody's talking about it..
Insect populations dropping - implications?
I don't even spray OFF when walking in the woods anymore. We really did kill off most of the insects in 20 years
But that’s the thing tho. Mosquitos and tick populations are up, while all other bugs seem to be down. No more bees, no more flies all over your car, no more June bugs by the pool, no more fire flys at night. We don’t even see bats at our cottage anymore.
Yet tick populations are booming. It’s crazy how much has changed in the last 20 years. When I grew up in the 90s we never worried about ticks while we were out playing. Hijacking OPs thread to mention how having to de groom your dog after a walk in the park never used to be a thing. Now every time you go out 6 ticks all over. No bugs at the cottage tho. Seems strange?
5G towers actively repel them and birds.
>No joke. It happened all the time
>Now, it almost never happens.
Can confirm. Happened all the time. Maybe not all over the windshield, depending on your area I guess, but a lot more than recent years which is closer to 0.
Zoomer here. You’re pretty retarded for thinking we exist in a vacuum. Anyway, I have also noticed a massive limit in bug population. I read something in like 2014 about how the insect population had dropped by 40% from 1970.
In short, we’re fucked in multiple different ways. I’ve resigned knowing my death will come soon.
Immune system collapse
Holy fuck you retards... They were all killed by windshields.
There isn't too many people, there's too many problems.
bird population has decreased by nearly 1/3 since 1970
