I actually believed they would be based and redpilled on all matters, not just policy, as in they would be traditional when it comes to social norms. Her parents loved me because i was right wing despite going to college, said i was one of the few who didn't become a "brainwashed freak".
Fast forward to today, they're having charges levied against me because when i got drunk and angry I punched their daughter. I don't even know if it was justified, I don't really care, i was drunk and really pissed off because of stress from work and my favourite team lost and she was just getting in the way. After hitting her i threw her into the wall and shoved her face down to the ground which caused more damage. She ran away crying after I did that.
Her parents went from "based Conservative traditional family values" to "OUR DAUGHTER, HER RIGHTS, YOU EVIL MEN, YOU ABUSE WOMEN, ETC, ETC, ETC". They sound like the biggest feminists you've ever seen. Her dad threatened to kill me if i come near her again. They said I was a "nasty scum" and her mom even called me "subhuman" even though i have a lighter complexion than them.
The point is that a right-winger becomes a social justice warrior when confronted... they're the biggest cowards who hide behind the mask of the right.
This behavior is common. Most conservatives are just liberals who drive in the slow lane.
Try talking with a boomer about Hitler being justified in defending his people and see what happens. Everything most average peasants know and do is based on hollywood movies where they project themselves onto the movie characters. Most people are cowards, intellectually, spiritually, mentally, so do not expect much from most people.
