If you're morally opposed to killing people then yeah you should be against abortion. I would consider that a "good", or at least valid reason.
I don't personally agree with it though, I think killing people can be justified, so I support abortion primarily for eugenic effects. Aside from the obvious reduction of inheritable illnesses, I think that the sort of people who would kill their children should not be reproducing.

Not systematically, but no-reason abortion and in-utero downs testing have both been available for a long time. Some downs babies get aborted, some don't, it completely depends on the family.
