What to we do about the EV problem. They're barely even 5% of the population but they're already risking toppling the world's energy grid
EV is not the future
Jew
LMFAO
> Hey man, we're not even going to ALLOW gas cars in just a decade or so, we're so forward thinking.
> Also can you please not be using a shit ton of electric cars because we're struggling to keep the lights on as it is OK
Ask me how I know they fully intend to "obsolete" transportation and car ownership and move everyone to gay mopeds and frighteningly awful public transport
>bans gas vehicles
>bans charging electric vehicles
guess califags wont drive then
You will ride ze bus and you will get robbed and raped by niggers on the subway.
They wanted walkable cities so let them walk.
Yes it virtually is the future. You see, what 90% of the population still don't get is that their plan is not to replace all combustion engines with EVs. Anyone who believesvthat is room temp IQ. There's not enough electricity in the grid for that, ever. The goal is to drastically decrease the total number of cars and with that the ability of people to move around. A family of four will not be able to afford even one ev. They will have to use public car sharing services. You will live in a radius of 10miles and you Will be happy.
BIG ELON COCK
>5%
lol. lmao even.
California DMV says they have 36,229,205 registered vehicles.
Of those, 425,300 are EVs.
1.17% EVs and the grid is buckling.
For EVs to work it will take enormous amount of work, effort and money for a better grid and better and more efficient energy production. Also a shitton more energy sources. This cannot happen any time soon, as much as everyone wants to be trendy and "eco-friendly" its a near impossible task for any country. Also EVs are a meme that's probably going to die
Artificial scarcity was always the plan. Just like IMF food riots and UN Agenda 21. Too bad it takes decades for these things to break whrough the jewish media blackouts.
Good, fuck california
fuck you I'd do it anyways, not my problem.
it's almost like these people really want a society built on the concept of others yet are destroying that very concept.
No. It is the future. This is exactly what they’ve wanted: rationed travel. Soon they’ll be border-patrol style checkpoints every 30 miles where they’ll be some giant barcode scanner that determines how far you’ve actually travelled since the last. It will boost the economy with thousands of new jobs and innovations. It will also reduce accidents when they limit each car speed to a maximum of 50mph.
Remember in some countries they'd give you tax credits for buying EVs but in reality they should have been taxing them more to increase the grids energy capacity.
Politicians are literally the stupidest people. They only reason they're politicians is because they can't do anything other than be charismatic
just use your solar pan.....oh yeah that's right solar is really expensive in califonia and takes about 3-4 years for approval. you literally have to build a house for the central box to live in.
>What to we do about the EV problem
It's not so much an EV problem as it's a "California refuses to permit new power generation capacity" issue. That state is running low on base load power generation. It's been 20 years since I cared about CA power distribution. The last I looked into it they were heavily reliant on out of state power due to refusing to permit any new generation capacity. Made a fortune trading power during their late 90s crises. Nothing like the fun purchasing CA domestic power and tying up the interstate transmission lines to ship electricity out of CA while LA is having rolling blackouts. Those idiots do it to themselves.
Sorry. Was pulling numbers out my ass to be generous. Either way it's completely retarded.
And this isn't even considering the environmental damages of generating these batteries and the finite resources that go into them
based. buy a bike
Kek. Cali fags BTFO
Oh no, it gets better. Only something like 16 million are personal light vehicles, meaning regular cars. The rest are commercial and see many times more use. So that 1.17% represents maybe 0.2% of the actual fuel use, not to mention that people who buy EVs also tend to not drive very far so maybe 0.1% of actual fuel use. California's massive amount of EVs doesn't even produce a statistically significant drop in its gas usage and their grid is already overloaded.
>It's been 20 years since I cared about CA power distribution.
Jesus. Thanks for the info though grandpa
Then a return to horses it is... Amish lead the way.
This will increase shootings and crimes exponentially.
this is the plan just incase any of you don't know. you ever wonder why they are always pushing electric cuck mobiles but never address the issue of how we are going to power all of these vehicles? why don't these people ever talk about expanding the electric grid?
you will be rationed and you will be happy
Solar pan cookers are fine. Solar panels are a no.
anyone can run the numbers and see that you will spend $3000 more a year on insurance another $5000 a year on a cashless expense depreciation and $800 a year on registration to pay for semi trucks ruining the roads to save like $200 a year on gas and have to drive to superchargers and plug in at your house and hope the battery does not die its basically a meme
It was all outlined in the documentary Brazil
YOU VILL BUY ZE ELECTRIC CAR BUT YOU VILL NOT DRIVE IT
