Christians don't have the same understanding of Truth as you and I do. They operate on the logic that Christianity = Truth, and therefore anything that furthers the interest of Christianity is also Truth.
This is why we are often baffled by how Christians (and Jews and Muslims) seems to have no problem lying their guts out. They believe they are serving the interest of Yahweh by advancing his cause. Throwing out blatant lies such as indigenous European religions being Jewish, while their Jewish-derived religion being anti-Jewish, is in their mind a true statement, because it serves the interest of their god.

Most are well aware of this tendency among Jews and Muslims. We have terms for it like chutzpah or taqiya. Blatant lies told to protect the Abrahamic cult. We haven't yet come up with a good term for when Christians do it but perhaps it's time we do.

If I was Hellenic for instance why worship all of Cronus's children, the Olympian pantheon, and their offspring, when I could just worship Quranos and Gaia?
