I've been on it for three years and never had any side effects. It worked extremely well, however it seems to have stopped working over the course of the past month or so and my hair is falling out again. I'm using finasteride+minoxidil, it's worked quite well - better than I expected even. Obviously don't have the same hairline I did when I was 16 but all shedding and receding has stopped. The trick is to start as soon as you notice balding, and the catch is you can never stop. My dick still works the same, I think during my consultation they said it happens to less than 5% of patients.
Finasteride may not always work as well as advertised, but the side effects are negligible if you are healthy and in good shape.

He said his friend immediately developed every possible side effect and broke out in a rash all over.
