I remember when I was a kid. There was a guy filling sodas. All he did was turn stacks of cups into rows of sodas. Then there was a guy making heaps of fries. Anyone remember when you'd get your fries instantly at mcdonalds because there was always a giant pile of them ready? Now the person has to fill the last person's sodas and fries before taking my order, and then do the same to the next person. Oh and there's only 1 person taking orders.

Only McDonald’s does this. All other fast food chains are like any other job where everyone is trained in at least 80% of duties. This will only make it worse for the current employees who actually do a good job because it’ll just entitle and enable their shitty co-workers even more. The reason fast food sucks is because the customers. They demanded faster food, not better food, so restaurants answered and the idiots couldn’t accept the trade off they received. Either wait a few extra minutes for decently made food, or gtfo. That simple.

Who still eats out? I've been eating at home for the last 3 years. My wife cooks most of the food and I handle grilling and baking. Never ate better. Probably half our meals come entirely from the garden.
