Cockatiels are fucking awesome little shits. Frequently have hilarious personalities. I had one growing up, it was a laugh riot and loved to pick up stuff and throw it off of whatever it was sitting on. It’s size meant it pretty much wasn’t able to destroy anything larger than a lego or whatever. Still hilarious. They go from 0-100 in a millisecond.
As some have pointed out, they are quite perceptive and can distinguish easily between men and women —- growing up it saw a darker Mexican once and didn’t like it at all. Uncanny valley reaction towards something that appears human, yet somehow isn’t, I would bet. I bet seeing a Nigger would have just had it flying up on the highest thing and puffed up, staring, and uttering screms at 1000 decibels upon seeing one.
