Love the whole "we won't turn on NS2 because the Russian won't deliver anyway" spiel, it's such a flimsy excuse. The best thing that could happen to them is if they turned on NS2 and the Russians would refuse to deliver, because it would prove their claims true.
But they know the Russians would deliver the gas just fine if they did, and that even normalfags might start questioning if it was Ivan who inflicted this inflation on us or our own governments if that happened.

If NS2 is turned on, Russia will send enough gas to keep Germans from freezing and for the lights going off. It will be very expensive. They are humane, but not about to do you any favors. YOU declared economic war and now are a hostile economic power. This was not the case before, which is why Russia had no problem with supplying cheap, reliable energy. They saw you as partners, friends even. This is all over.
