Here's some protest tactics for no particular reason
>Stay on the move, DO NOT GET TRAPPED under any circumstances.
>Do not bring mobile phones. Location services are accessible to police and will be used to track the location of you and the crowd. Wrapping a phone in tin foil can mitigate this.
>Support independent reporters. Pause streams to hide crowd movement.
>Don't negotiate with police unless you absolutely must
>Target undefended symbolic places. Parliaments, stations, banks, and administrative buildings are top priority.
>There will be collaborators. Weed them out at all costs.
>Police try to split up crowds to break morale. Small groups are easier to control and arrest.
>The cops rely on removing protest leaders to control crowds. There are no leaders, don't trust anyone with a megaphone.
>Report police positions and movement to the crowd. If online methods are compromised you have a mouth.
>Don't get doxxed. No one who protests is safe from doxxing. Wear surgical masks and sunnies if you have to.
>Avoid identifiable clothing and hide haircuts or tattoos to help maintain your privacy.
>Don't talk to reporters.
>Cops, security cameras, and helicopters can be blinded with laser pointers or spray paint.
>Shields, armour, sports equipment, or thick clothes help to protect from rubber bullets and batons.
>Rubber bullets cause permanent eye damage and will can break most eye protection, wear ballistic-rated safety goggles.
>Always wear head protection no matter what. Anything is better than your bare scalp.
>Tear gas canisters use a pyrotechnic charge, small canisters can be put out with water, larger ones have to be thrown away from the crowd.
>Bring water and milk to treat people hit with tear gas and pepper spray respectively.
>Flags, chanting and singing are great for morale.
>Let ambulances and firetrucks through if possible. Be aware of cops using this to their advantage.
>Limit police communication and feed them false information.
