>according to interviews with senior U.S. and Ukrainian officials and photographs of the replicas reviewed by The Washington Post
Well that’s gotta be legit.
Consider two things:
a) no supposed dummy targets photos are presented within this article. ok, I get it, opsec concerns, but…
b) …then why would you divulge this sensitive info in the first place? seems to me a great amount of PR value in this war attached to this wunderwaffe, compromising its security by letting us know the dummies exist in the first place is kinda dumb.
There’s a lot of knit picking in general (like it’s possible to determine material density from the modern visual systems, which RAF employs routinely), but this screwed logic doesn’t make any sense in the first place.
Holy cope
It's not exaclty a new thing
The idea itself - sure. I more puzzled by this article.
Well of course there are decoys this is standard for any conflict. This piece is designed to keep up US public interest in the war that's all. They can "reveal" something not secret in the least to the general public to give them a curated glimpse of what's happening on the ground.
Yeah, but why reveal it at all, especially with this sensitive piece of tech? Coudeve just made another story about how hardened ukie soldiers are, but no, they had to bend the “we are tots outsmarting them” branch, doing the dumbest thing possible opsec wise.
Not everyone has the same sources, and not everyone wants to write the same article the Nteenth time.
It got you talking about it didn't it?
Probably trying to play down the number of them that have been destroyed. Russia claims they blew one up, "oh it was a decoy! Better luck next time!", meanwhile they're seething.
>Yeah sure it looks like a bunch of those systems got destroyed
>In reality it was decoys and we're still winning this war of attrition
How are you guys holding up there, are people already fed up with this bullshit war and the artillery duel it has devolved into?
It didn't.
This article is cope generated after the Xth failed Ukie "offensive", and it would be expected I farm (You)s from bots and ukrop diaspora cowards
I would post such a story if there were too many pictures of destroyed wunderwaffens circulating the internet
Are there any?
It's bullshit, Russia doesn't hit the HIMAR launches as soon as it finds something HIMAR launcher shaped. Drone and satellite image analysts will track targets like these for hours/days looking for secondary targets, in this case most likely looking for ammo storage and support equipment, following the reloading vehicles in order to see if they lead them to other launchers, looking at where these vehicles are hidden/stored when not active etc, and so inevitably this means they will have watched these launches fire off multiple volleys over this observation period before the go ahead is given to attempt to take them out.
You sound very insecure, why you're reading into the news like that?
I dont even understand what your point is supposed to be Carlos, did you finish grade school?
Because it's not a real reveal. You think the Russians didn't notice that there were decoys? The strategy probably stopped working already.
Found the assblasted fin. Don't worry your rape coons will b along shortly for your women
>artillery duel it has devolved into
It’s not a duel, per se, ukies rarely respond with counter battery fire.
The sluggish pace is gay, for sure, but it’s only mildly annoying.
That’s the thing: RAF claims they’ve knocked out some, UaAF defends that all are in service, and no one is posting proofs. This article is sus as it tries to harden the ukies claim.
I agree, that’s another thing with this article, clearly written by a gullible person who’s never seen operational activity in his life. Much more methodical then the article describes it.
We might even not known, but now we know for sure. It’s a probability loss.
>b) …then why would you divulge this sensitive info in the first place?
Because there are probably no decoys of any kind and this entire thing is made up. Is this your first day on Earth? People lie, especially in war
They are priming the pump of public opinion
>Those were only decoys you killed
Russia seems to think the west isn't under media black out and has legit free press or something lol.
You do not get an alternative mainstream opinion of this war only that Russia is bad.
But doesn’t WaPo as an American outlet has to inform you, an American, to the best of their ability about what’s really going on for you to be an informed voter come elections? Literally their motto.
>priming the pump
Aren’t better ways to do it possible?
Bro are you fucking retarded, be honest with me. What is wrong with you?
>Aren’t better ways to do it possible?
No need, you don't get another opinion.
omg, ukrainians are so smart and russians are so evil. It's amazing what these brave heroes come up with. it's like the sadly fallen ghost of kiev :cheer: :cheer: :ua_flag: :globohomoflag:
Loud
Another Ghost of Kyieeff would’ve worked better imo
> to the best of their ability about what’s really going
le epic troll.
Further even if they wanted, they can only get information from ukraine general of staff and US intelligence who both may have alterior motives in mind in this war of information apart from informing the public.
