It's just not necessary OP. You can a Christianised hermeticism from the likes of Jakob Böhme, but it won't do any good. Jesus came to set us free from the law, to give us peace and grace. Hermetic teachings are just a very refined form of law, a kind of spiritual discipline. Whether you join a charity, enter a monastery, discipline yourself with asceticism, or try to enlighten your mind with some occult formula — all are at bottom a vain, human attempt to seek justification, holiness, and glory apart from the grace of God freely given in Christ. You'll be wasting your time. After years spent in the proverbial alchemical laboratory perfecting your knowledge of arcane teachings, I guarantee you you'll be no closer to true holiness or true wisdom than when you started. You'll just have tired yourself out and more than likely have a demonic oppression to deal with on top.
