Anyone here have any experience with mental illness and/or demons? This psychiatrist thinks most schizophrenics are demon possessed.
Demons and mental illness?

We openly agree that you're a (((moonlit midnight))).
I’m schizoaffective. What would you like to know?
What do the voices tell you?
The voices told me I was a woman
Seriously?
The human brain is really powerful, the fact you have dreams with unfamiliar people shows that there's probably a few "people" in the brain.
I get auditory hallucinations, had voices threatening me, saying things like, "I'm gonna hang you upside down, Bitch", or chiding remarks, "He gets hyper when he's drunk."
Sometimes i'll get music, nice voices, or "eaves-drop" conversations.
Had "smoke vision", where you will see wafting smoke in the darkness of your eyelids, also it will be like this black image of me staring off somewhere in another room click refresh on my computer browser, saying "error internet connection."
This is all while just laying down, sometimes I get like fucked up shit like a maimed baby face smiling with cuts all over it, or like the "Skeleton man" who dresses like a dandy.
I was being "harassed", so I had my mom take me to the crisis clinic, and I just knew i'd be bored to tears waiting while I sit around. They end up taking me to another facility across town. I get in there and I feel threatened, like a looming sense of dread. This old hispanic man in his 50's looks up at me, sitting in the room with all the people with mental issues, and he smiles and says, "Donald". Which is my dead dad's name, went into the bathroom to cry and get myself out of there.
They are just hallucinations :^)
Does anyone have the video of that kid who thought he was schizophrenic but actually it seems their were "voives" being broadcast that were audible over his stream?
Fuck, can't find it.
It'd a weird topic. I've seen the video, and read some stuff about it, but it's obviously impossible to say. But I think the traditional understanding of most kinds of schizophrenia is extremely flawed.
Well there's different types of sound rehearsals in the brain, when we compose are sentences there's a sympathetic inflection of spoken word introduced in the monologs of our thoughts. Second would be imagined sounds, these are invocations of sounds like windchimes, dolphins, wind, or other external sounds.
When a person truly goes schizo, the process of perceptual sound is endogenous in origin, it should show up on ct/nMRI scans as activation. The source or reason to why may be associated with a delusion or belief. In effect, the brain generates a recognizable foreign entity. The contextual basis of this entity can affectual be good or bad in relation to the schema of the belief.
This not to be even alarming to the sense people undergo lateral hemispherectomy (cleaving of the brain), lending to a mute conscious cooperating with the talking portions of the brain. Psychoses is an act of god like everything else in reality, so it can be caused by life changing events, drugs, and genetics.
what people call "schizophrenia" in the west is in most cases a person going through an awakening as their senses are being opened, allowing them to perceive beyond the five senses and into other realities. unfortunately, in the west people are generelly not educated about these sort of things so they don't understand what's happening to them which ends up with the "schizophrenics" experiencing a lot of confusion and fear and also being preyed upon by mischievous, malevolent entities seizing the opportunity as they haven't been taught any proper defense mechanisms for these other realities either. in many cases, people operate from a christian point of view, seeing the world through a christian lens so to speak which makes them see everything that is not of christ as "demonic", often leading to further confusion and fear.
>They are just hallucinations :^)
it's SCIENCE amirite !
Did someone tell him there is no such thing as Demons.
>Anyone here have any experience with mental illness and/or demons?
Yeah, both. I've lost 10+ years of my life to mental disorder and breakdowns. As for the demonic, well, me and my family have been under 'demonic oppression' for a generation. Had an Archbishop and Exorcist name one particular demon (can't repeat its name, gives it power).
I also beheld one too. I met the 'entity' often spoken about in psychedelics--during a heroic trip of LSD and Mushrooms. Y'know, the McKenna/Rogan entity they talk about.
Demons do not cause mental illness.
Man causes mental illness; either to himself, or to others via abuse, neglect, hatred, or ritualistic abuse of alcohol and drugs.
Demons can perturbate and aggravate mental illness. Demons can plant thoughts and tempt man with ideas to lead him to sin, and overtime, lead him to lose the ability to love himself and thereby love for his neighbor until ultimately he loses love for God.
Then mental illnesses ensue. Yes the demon tempts you to such a fate, but it is always man first and foremost who has a choice. Either by choosing evil, or choosing to do nothing in the face of it (which is a choice of itself).
Hope this helps.
He's correct. Demons are real. Anyone who thinks everything can be explained in terms of materialist phenomena and that the mind is nothing but a complicated chemical reaction is deluding themselves and afraid of admitting the existence of God.
Familial possessions are definitely a thing. Do/did you have any family members who might have made contracts or pacts with demons? Sometimes they promise their progeny as payment or worse, unfortunately. You can get out of it, but it takes a lot of faith.
It's just people are poised to superstition, they fear the unknown. Like the game "Bloody Mary", like no oje wants to do it, but there's no ghost that's gonna pop up in the mirror. The true terror is that people have bad trips, and they love the dream machines horror scripts. There's a drive to know what's behind the curtain, all the suspense. I agree that religion exploits the capacity of human's social drive for acceptance, and they utilize it as a means to find comfort and abuse through moral observance that it just get's self-persecutory.
Found the midwit materialist.
How to spot a catholic.
You are all numb nuts.
He's incorrect. I say this with true belief in God. I love our Father, and his Son, the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. I greatly respect and love the Spirit for all of its counsel and wisdom. Praise Christ.
But the psychologist is wrong. Demons can't proverbially hang you at the gallows. You are the one who hangs yourself.
Demons simply hand you the rope.
Christ gives you his hand to lead you down from the gallows.
Ultimately, man chooses his own destiny. Demonic interference occurs from inviting them into your life via wounds that you open in your life. Porn. Drugs. Alcohol. Pride. Lust. Jadedness and hardening of the heart; these are the things man does to invite the demonic.
>Do/did you have any family members who might have made contracts or pacts with demons?
We all make pacts every single day, whether we are aware of it or not. We do this by choosing sin. As for more 'serious' pacts. Yes.
My Uncle was very high up in the Masonic order. High enough to learn and profess some pretty severe Luciferian ideologies until he went mad.
As for myself, in drunken stupors I made a pact with Satan in my foolishness once or twice.
Not Catholic, but Jesus Christ is King and reigns in Heaven and Earth.
Yes, you are absolutely correct and I see your point. Demons ultimately *cannot* violate your free will, but they can influence you and feed off of your negative energy and compel you to perform negative acts.
So mental illness may be caused by demonic influences, but in that case it ultimately is your choice whether to obey the demon or not. You clearly have great spiritual insight and experience, and I 100% believe you are telling the truth in describing your experiences.
This guy is right.
Demons are far more common than u might think.
>uncle high up in Masonic order
That explains it then. He definitely made deals with demons and principalities and likely involved his family in the deal as well. Unfortunately, you are all tied by blood (the currency of the spiritual realm) and so might have to suffer some of the consequences of his actions. Luckily, Christ paid for your sins with His blood, so you can break the demon's hold over your life. Also, you did not pledge your soul to Satan, although the latter will try to convince you otherwise. Pray to God for guidance, and He will deliver you.
