Coal? German politicians would rather kill themselves than green-light indefinite lignite burning, and even if they didn't kill themselves, their constituents would kill them.
LNG? It is more expensive than piped natural gas because it has to be liquified in an energy-intensive cooling process, shipped in special ships, and regasified in special facilities.
Wind? Solar? Suffers from intermittency, you would need gas or coal to compensate for downtimes.
Hydro? Germany doesn't have the geography for more hydropower.
Nuclear? Even if Germany overcame its nuclear phobia, nuclear plants take many years to build, and there is not enough much expertise to build reactors on a large scale, it has atrophied since the 70s/80s heyday.

just because an alternative isn't optimal doesn't mean it's completely wrong. That's the whole thing with making policies. Do you spend more on A or B? Do you fix problem Y with X solution, which will be more expensive, or do you choose a cheaper option that has other downsides? etc. etc.
Germany can make the decision to invest in other energy sources even when they are more expensive or result in other problems. Just because Russian gas is no longer an option.

The spot price of natural gas in Alberta is $3/GJ liquidized and delivered it would be about $4.5GJ. The current spot price for natural gas in German is $95/GJ (340 Euro / MWHr)

We don't have access to more cheap uranium because the economy of scale isn't around to make a huge cheap mine economical. As uranium demand goes up the amount of uranium that becomes economical goes way up. This also doesn't account for something like a breeder reactor that is more than 100 times more fuel efficient, 0.03% fuel efficient vs 96% efficient, or the use of other fission materials.

Yes it is. German industry will compete worse internationally with US and Chinese companies if they pay more for inputs like energy and feedstocks.
Imagine if Germany had turned down Russian gas. Then Russia would have built more pipelines to China and sold the gas to China (for even cheaper) and German industry would have to compete against Chinese industry powered by Russian gas.
