This. The debts arent forgiven. Their burden is placed on people who didnt incur them. Not to mention the fact that the executive branch doesnt have legal authority to do it.

taxpayers paid for the debt when it was issued, not when it's repaid. Think for two seconds about how debts work. The taxpayer was never going to see the interest, the state keeps that. Once the loan was granted, THAT'S when you lost your tax money. Whether or not they repay is irrelevant with respect to the taxpayer.
