It varies. A lot already have family here, some believe England will be incredible, like a Hugh Grant film and are very shocked at the reality, others have escaped genuine persecution, but then encounter it again in England from the same people they fled from.
It all comes from very high up, im middle management, im a nobody and can influence nothing, i cant even row slightly less enthusiastically since everything is automated. But its 100% entirely unsustainable. The welfare system in this country could collapse in 3 years, and i would be impressed it lasted that long
It does look like we're all going to lead a lot more integrated lives, at least based on the data. How people react in reality i dont know
>>what would you say is the laughably obvious reason why this is being allowed to occur?
I deliberately didn't answer. The data doesn't provide any answers so i speculate its a moral good. These people are in need, allow them to come in, and it atones from the past.
So if you are anti-immigration, then you are immoral in the eyes of the politicians. Thats just speculation, but i have no idea what happens when millions of new arivals cant work (they have PO bank accounts but these come with their own issues)
I suspect crime out of necessity will explode. Again, these are purely circumstantial thoughts

I will never go any further north than Plymouth. Like Mordor up there.
