BIDEN: "I had a standing order to reclassify any and all confidential documents removed from White House grounds." Cuckmate?

He's not really President, so...he can claim whatever he wants.

Literally no one cares about this puppet piece of shit.

Biden: "I have hairy legs that-that-that, uh, that turn, uh, blonde, in the sun."

Salty

Geez, you don't have to tell us your favorite dick flavor.

This merely sets a precedent that new presidents don't have to follow anything the last one established.
Not that it matters, he'll just rig himself into dying in office.

"He knew the stuff had been reclassified. We told him. We gave him 18 months to return it. It's a shame. It's a shame. Now he goes to jail."

>I had a standing order to reclassify any and all confidential documents
Well that's okay because once Trump declassified them they were no longer confidential documents. Good thing Biden doesn't have the likes of you on his legal team.

You can’t reclassifying something that has been declassified. That’s like triple stamping a double stamp

That's literally how reality works. One president signs an executive order, the next one revokes it.

A president can classify anything he wants, just like he can declassify anything he wants. Why would the power only work one way?

But if Trump truly declassified everything he took then you should be able to just FOIA it all. So, go ahead! What specific documents will you submit the requests for?

Oh right... you don't know.

Because they were never formally declassified.

Tell that to Trump trying to end DACA.

lmao, except you can't, you cannot re-classify information once it's declassified you tard

Show us proof that Trump declassified the documents, such things do in fact exist.
There are forms that have to be filled out so agencies know they have to comply with FOIA requests submitted by people asking about the declassified documents. There is no way to "silently" declassify something or declassify it only for one's self after leaving office; either something is declassified for the entire world to see or it is classified and thus can only be seen by people with the proper clearances, and by extension must also be properly secured.
Trump has no evidence at all that he properly declassified the documents he stole. Bear in mind, he claimed there was nothing for the FBI to find at first. Then he claimed they planted evidence. Then he claimed nothing he had was classified, before changing his story again, and saying he declassified everything.
The latest releases indicate the FBI recovered 184 classified documents Trump had kept in Mar a Lago, some of them in a fucking closet of all places. 25 of those documents were Top Secret, some contained information on human intelligence assets.
Trump is in every sense of the word fucked. He admitted he had these documents and is making shit up to try and keep himself out of prison, his base angry threatening violence against cops, and the donor class hosing his bank account with donations.
It's not difficult to see this scam is burning itself down.

now that's some dark malarkey
no take backsies

A president can declassify or reclassify anything. He's the president.

First they didn't know what they were looking for.
Then it was nuclear documents.
Now it's some shit about spies who were getting killed for a decade years before he came along?
The sad part is you'll probably get away with it.

Trump succeeded remember? It went to the Supreme Court and he won.

lol are you stupid he lost on some (((procedural technicality)))

Not salty, he's just not technically the President. He did not recieve the required votes. He was never sworn in. Simple as.

Not sure what the current state of things is, but Biden is not legally the President of the USA.

Uh...no? DACA died, retard. It's dead. That's the problem with executive orders, they're enforced at the pleasure of the president.

Biden is saying the FBI never contacted him about the raid which means it is impossible that Trump is being accused of having classified material inappropriately, because the FBI would have had to ensure proper chain of custody of said material.
So classified material is not an issue here, or if it is, the FBI is currently committing a crime by holding onto classified material inappropriately without giving it back to the White House. Ironic, no?

OH N-

Biden made the standing order on January 20th, 2001 at 12:01 PM EST. That's long before the FBI returned those reclassified documents to Quantico, user.

NPR = fake news. Why not post a link to CNN next?

It's not fake if they're celebrating a major victory faggot.

If he's going to classify "anything he wants" he has to at least be able to name the thing he wants to classify. You said "confidential documents" which obviously doesn't apply to declassified information. In fact your whole argument is illogical. If they're "confidential" they're already classified. And the Constitution says nothing about "formal declassification" or any sort of classification. It does say that the power of the executive is vested in the President. It says that.

>Trump has to comply with x, y, z laws
Not as President he didn't. The Constitution supercedes statutes. Congress can't take a President's constitutional powers away without an amendment.
