Gasoline stocks on the east coast of the United States are at lows for 12 years. And diesel reserves across the country are 50% below the average values for the last five years.
At the same time, fuel prices in the United States have generally stabilized. But this is only due to the fact that Americans began to travel much less. The demand for fuel fell, and then the markets were afraid of the onset of a global recession. Therefore, average gasoline prices dropped from $5 per gallon in June to 3.9 in August.
Biden's team now sees as its priority an increase in fuel reserves within the country - on the eve of winter. This will be done at the expense of the Europeans - who will begin to block access to American energy carriers.
Well, if some European economies do not survive this winter, it does not matter. For Washington, this is more than acceptable collateral damage in the confrontation with Russia. They simply did not fit into the new geopolitical reality.

Oh shut the fuck up, no western nation has actual war fighting experience. The only nations in the world to have it are Russia and the Ukraine. For western militaries it is literally all theory work and simulations.
