Compartmentalization. I love the decent values that have been produced that I hold dear despite the dark hidden history of the nation. I love the constitution. I love freedom. But I hate the system, I hate the corrupt lawmakers, I hate government, I hate the feds, I hate aipac, I hate the adl, I hate lobbyists in general and the entire rules for thee but not for me bullshit.
To put it simply, I love the ideas and the idealism it produced to an extent, but I hate the dark reality.
