PPP loans were offered by the government because the government shut down your business over a cold. If you used them to pay your employees to sit on their asses and be "non-essential" the government agreed to forgive that loan, from the beginning.
Student Loans are requested by the person who takes them out so they can get themself something nice: a college education. They agree to pay the money back with interest.
They couldn't be more different but you're a liberal so that doesn't matter because it's reality.

I have a lot of military friends bitching about the student loan forgiveness topic at the moment. I am in agreement - it's not fair to everyone that only a certain group is to be gifted debt forgiveness at the expense of others. However the military personnel were the first to take the 'free college' handouts. Why do people in the military get college paid? They already make a livable wage plus other subsidies and taxpayer funded handouts. If you want to talk about total cost these programs should be gutted first.
