Sounds like a personal preference.. but think about it.. chinks or ruskis having your info is sort of less dangerous for you as they are not friendly countries and would not, say, rat your ass out, and are less likely to agree to handing over information to your feds (which are the real danger to you). They might not even admit any recording or data even exists.
Western tech on the other hand will soon flag you to your local authorities every time you act anti-simetic or problematic. iphone is already reading fucking image memes. the west will reach the 1984 dystopia way sooner just because of the level of tech advancement.
To me, all three are the same. and all three are preferable over any software or device made by my own govt/country (if they did make any, they don't). So i will just use the thing that is most user friendly and right now its either apple or google.

Maybe some improvements in native Kotlin (a popular placement for Java) could case a reduction in memory and processor usage and improve battery life as the applications migrated to it.
It has performance issues with memory handling and garbage collection as far as I know.
