Lived pre 911. Gold trippled in price after and inflation kicked in hard afterwards.

The lie is that the Mcalisters we’re “middle class”. The fucking robbers were hitting every mansion on the block because everyone was traveling for Christmas

The cost of international flights in 1992 were relatively much more expensive than they are today. They were always Uber rich

He would leave his child unattended for pedophiles to hunt

That movie made me believe America was the land of the rich and the land of the whites and the land of christmas when in reality is just a nigger mexican cess pool -.-

Attached: 1646284010460.jpg (640x800, 140.91K)

Whith shitty christmases!

He was getting kick backs from the Jersey mob.

I figured they were loaded but with the amount of people in the family it bounced them into middle class

That was the point. Hollywood portrayals of America are created by Jews to attract migrants to America. It's the same kind of thing as the activists that tell randomniggers that Europe is full of easy whores to incentivize them to migrate. Then once they get here are realize that it's a shithole and everything is gay and everyone is miserable, they get angry and start raping etc.

also he was a high profile lawyer or at least that's what they insinuate

Didn't the whole family also fly business class in the movie?

This. Only a zoomer would assume that this was “middle class” in 1990. As someone who was a middle class kid in 1990, the McCallisters were obviously portrayed as a rich family and it’s not even a question.

Just the parents.
they were upper middle class, Iived in the adjacent neighborhood and my family was middle class. their house isn't even that expensive if you think they were hyper rich.

He let Tone know puss was wired for sound. That means something to our friends.

The whole family didn’t live in that house they were all there so they could all fly to Paris in the morning you flamboyant retard.

In that hosue was like the parents the two brothers and like the crazy uncle or whatever staying in the guest room

These houses were all in Chicago suburbs.

>2 million dollars in suburban Chicago

The average home cost in suburban Chicago is like 1/8th that at 300k or so and that’s after the last 4 years of property hyper inflation

I was always under the impression that they were upper class, executive types

Kevin's dad was a glownigger.

That's the hidden irony of how he wasn't able to keep track his own son, the blond-haired blue-eyed gifted child that proceeds to defeat the bigger swarthy morons.

Glowniggers are failures. White nationalism wins.

Joe Pesci and Goldstein were actually doing a mob hit

This might have been the most rich family ever portrayed as being "average" in any movie or TV show. I found shows like Roseanne and Married with Children ridiculous because they're portrayed as being dirt poor but they own their house and all their cars. And Dan on Roseanne eventually starts a business, but is still "poor". And no, the connors were not middle class, no middle class family has a crocheted afghan on the couch.

Absolutely. BOTH parents wore full length trenchcoats and leather gloves. Look at normal people in cold weather... puffy jackets and a beanie.

I'm pretty sure he was a lawyer in the movie

These were $90k homes in 1981

This was a $105k

The mother worked in fashion and the father was most likely in finance. They were clearly wealthy.

>The lie is that the Mcalisters we’re “middle class”
they were / are middle class. this is what everyone is talking about when they say the middle class is "shrinking". everyone is dropping out of it and becoming poor

All of Jon Hughes movies were about rich kids

Don’t you all remember Ferris Beulers buddy Cameron and his dads half a million dollar collector car kept in a glass garage

>middle class

They were never portrayed as middle class they were portrayed as rich

“Average” would have been pic related

“Upper middle class” is a nebulous category which covers your average engineer up through “basically low-key rich”, but if you go with top 15 or 10 percent by income, a house like that would be most likely owned by the upper end. So I can buy upper upper middle class, find. Who cares. To most people, that’s basically still very wealthy. I make over 250k and my house is quite small and modest.

nigger, the bundys had an OK 2 story house and he provided for his family, including his materialistic wife and daughter as a shoe salesman

he did some work for Tony

In 2013 when I graduated highschool a duplex to rent was 100% of my monthly wagie income.
Now in 2022 after I crawled to finish college with no loans and I have a cozy business office wagie job a duplex to rent is 100% of my income.
Funny how every where's a "hot neighborhood".

woof

he ran an underaged brothel for elite businessmen and dabbled in drug dealing

they were all middle class
you retards have no idea what rich is
that's a lower class home
you were just lower class

it feels awful that people can't even conceive of a middle class existence anymore

>They were never portrayed as middle class they were portrayed as rich
Back to the Future was a more normal looking house for the time

I’m guessing you are 16-25 years old because you have no idea what middle class means or looked like in the 80’s 90’s 2000’s lol.

>Don’t you all remember Ferris Beulers buddy Cameron and his dads half a million dollar collector car kept in a glass garage
I do and I found it indescribably un-relatable as I did with most rich TV dads. 90% of TV commercials would show dad showing up for breakfast in a hurry dressed in a suit.... not in my life. Not even once.

I know exactly what middle class looks like and it's those movies
and I know exactly what rich looks like. most people have never met a truly rich person

He had a "consultancy" business, like all boomers.

Yep the family in home alone was insanely rich compared to any other movie except maybe Richie Rich, which of course also starred Mackulay. Remember the home alone house has THREE floors.

You have a deranged and misaligned idea of american classes. Go read wikipedia or something, zoomer.

Imagine how all the black kids felt with no dad.

Stop posting, you're the lone moron here.

They had a mcmansion in a heavily populated suburb. That's literally middle class (albeit more on the upper middle class side).

>upper middle class
>$2M house
nigger, what are you smoking

A mcmansion is a low quality, quickly built suburban house. This was a legacy house, built out of brick, 3 stories with about 6 bedrooms. You're an idiot.

This.
They've already shifted the Overton Window so far that people now-a-days think that anyone who doesn't have to put a portion of their monthly bills on a credit card is what constitutes "middle class".

>read Wikipedia
why? to get dumber?

you guys just don't know what you're talking about

you people relate job descriptions and salaries to class so of course you don't know what middle class and rich are

You are either a troll or a rich zoomer who has no idea how most people live

Either way you are a retard shut the fuck up

All of Jon Hughes movies were about rich kids
Oh and lest we not forget John Bender. Definitely not rich.
DO I STUTTER

Uh huh, ok kid. There is such a thing as an upper middle class, which covers what most people consider wealthy, and “rich” also covers low end wealthy all the way to billionaire.

he rented out his son to juice

this, my parents bought their first 2 flat home in Chicago for 89k in the 1989. you can still find gems everywhere.

Yeah they had an average house in a neighborhood that was declining and they were a bunch of lazy assholes who didn’t keep up their yard cause his dad was a pussy

Notice after the house is much nicer looking because they make his dad a go getter

It was a pretty accurate portrayal of the majority of 80s and 90s America outside of the big cities. They were still minority infested shitholes, but rest of America was majority white.

I grew up in upper-middle class during 80s/90s
The McCallisters were also upper-middle class
Their house looked old.. it wasn't a typical 80s-90s house, looks like it had been built decades earlier, had older looking interiors, looked like it got cold during winter, etc.. nowadays everybody buys older houses but back then building your own house was the dream..

>Middle class means wage slave with a college degree!
You guys are retarded. The middle class is literally in between the wealthy and the poor. The majority of Americans who think of themselves as "middle class" are actually lower class because they wage for a living and are slaves to their company. This gives them zero time for political participation, and zero control over their local government. Someone like the McAlister's are middle class because they work for themselves, can afford to take time off for important societal issues, and have enough influence to be heard on local issues. They're not George Soros appointing politicians all over town, but they're still an important member of the community who cares and has the means to improve it.

What has happened is the Jews have conflated people with stable jobs with the middle class to make you feel more important about yourselves while simultaneously dismantling their only real opposition. They'll never face opposition from the lower classes, because those people are easily satisfied by bread and circuses (a wagie job + Netflix).

no, I'm a lower class retard who just has happened to meet alot of middle class and a rich person

I touched grass

"upper-middle" is a meme
