>700000 miles

That's 70,000 miles you added another 0.
Evniggers eternally btfo. They will never have a car that lives longer than 5 years.

I sold my car in 2020 because I really only use it like twice a year and I instead spent $200 on a used pushbike and it has done nothing but work.

Are you retarded it says 70,000

70,000 miles for 29,842.00 USD

Thats $0.43 per mile.

why do you call the total subtotal?

>$29K spent on a car from 2012

What idiot agreed to that?

He fell for the EV meme, serves him right.

>Thats $0.43 per mile.
More than that, since it costs money to charge your car

I've been driving the same car that I got when I turned 18, it gets 30 miles a gallon. Even if gas was $5 a gallon I'd still only be paying 1/3 what some EV tard pays

It's only going to get cheaper over time.
EVs are still in infancy and IDK why peeps are so shocked at the high price

Nice try shill. EV cars will never become mainstream, EVER.

Here's your EV, bro

>buying a chevy in this era
ngmi

Sometimes invoices have a greater running total from other transactions that haven't yet been paid, or other externalities not included on the previous section of the bill, so you have a subtotal and a grand total

>What idiot agreed to that?
Speaking of idiots, look in the mirror dumdum, that is a Repair ESTIMATE not a bill.

>That will be $30,000 plus tip

>pushbike
>google showes pics for bicicycles without pedals
>200 dollars for that
dude...

Just as those new expensive automobiles will never replace the horse which is cheaper to run and more reliable. Amirite fellow luddites?

On average, the volt consumes 1/3 of a kWh for each mile. KWh in USA are at most, 20 cents per kWh, so thats 6.67 cents per mile, or $0.067

$0.067 + $0.43 = $0.497 per mile

A 20 MPG car, with a $4.10 gas, costs around $0.205 per mile

So its cheaper to own a gas car, in the long term. Electric cars dont consume energy, they consume BATTERIES. Batteries are expensive as fuck. You guys had been fooled.

Should've bought a 4 banger my dude.

That's a pretty reasonable price

Pffft.
Prius car battery is like $2,000 and could in theory be installed yourself by hand. ChrisFix proved it on YouTube.

You still have to add the cost to charge it, so it's even more than that.

What idiot agreed to that?
This is most likely just a quote, But still. The issue is the car is most likely throwing a check engine light due to the battery failing and will no longer pass emissions. That means no matter what, this car wouldn't be allowed to drive on the street anymore unless you spent that 27k to fix it, and there's a good chance there's no bypass either.

Their plan is to ban the petrol engine and give you no choice. But since EV are unssustainable, they will only be availabe as Uber or the electric bus. Owning a private vehicle will be a luxury for the wealthy.

>For the cost of a brand new car you can drive 70,000 miles*
*electric charge cost not included, YMMV

I’m sure in a couple hundred years the price will drop to affordable.

I've always called it a pushbike out of habit. Still, it does indeed have pedals and other bicycle characteristics.

My Kia was around that amount. I’m around that mileage and chugging along just fine.

I remember when this drugged-up Russian roastie died. Why do Russians emigrate so much? Is Russia such a hell hole that emigration is the only answer?

But these gringooys suck on that conman Elon Musks balls all day everyday.
He's their new Steve Jobs.. but Jobs wasn't siphoning off tax payer money hand over fist. Matter of fact Jobs and him don't even belong in the same sentence.

$29,000 USD in gas, is like 5,800 gallons, at $5.00 per gallon.

5,800 Gallons on a 20 MPG engine is like 116,000 miles. Much higher than that chevy volt 70,000 miles.

So whats the fucking benefit of an electric car? Is this just a jewish trick with hidden real costs?

My gas car has 90k miles and I've spent maybe $7k on repairs and maintenance in that time. Imagine spending 30k just on the batteries and thinking that's reasonable. There's no way the electricity to operate it saves more than 23k USD over using gasoline during that same timeframe.

You’re not factoring in the necessary fluid maintenance on a combustion engine plus transmission.

70k miles means 14 oil changes and a transmission fluid change. I’m also curious how old this car is and how that battery isn’t under warranty still.

I really wish more libs talked about the battery issue with cars.
The big one they seem to just dismiss is that they aren't environmentally friendly to make at all.
The process to mine lithium for one car effectively puts out 5 years worth of the average gas car's carbon emmissions before it even hits the road. That combined with if you drive in a state heavy on coal/oil power (Ironically New York is one of those places) your electric car will have a bigger carbon footprint than pretty much any hybrid or 4 cylinder car.

Wow you’re real smart. No really

My car cost 16k and averages 450 miles out of a 10 gallon tank. There is no ev even close to competitive with that.

In case you missed it, the EV push was to make personal travel a luxury for the 1%, banning ICE vehicles and forcing EVs and limited resources to fuel them will mean 98% of us will ride the bus/trains (under development via the infrastructure bill) and you will be happy.

>There go your gas savings

the important savings aren't dollars and cents on gas, you numbskull
we're talking about saving the planet here
we'll all be required to make sacrifices

It'll start to be affordable when the aftermarket starts rebuilding batteries.
As of right now the dealers and MFRs have the monopoly on electric vehicle servicing.

We can sacrifice the niggers and the canacucks, and keep the SUVs.

i chuckled IRL

>just have 29k
lol, niggers btfo

Fuck trusting a refurb battery.

Fluid maintenance is a cheap cost when you do it yourself. Its like $25 for 5 qts of synthetic oil and oil filters vary in price, but altogether it doesn't cost more than $40 every 15,000 miles.

Tranny fluid change is a bit more, and I haven't had to do that yet.

Yeah I’ll stick to my decade old shitbox.

Lmao turn off your VPN
