do they have the technical expertise to do it though? most boomers who were running the plants must have retired by this point, and millennials wouldn't get into nuclear if they knew if was dead technology in europe for the last 20-30 years, so there hasn't been a generational communication of the practical knowledge and know-how to keep them running, also long term contracts to secure the fuel and things like that must have been let die for the last couple of decades
