"The Spanish Parliament voted to adopt a set of unpopular measures to save electricity in order to reduce the use of Russian gas. Air conditioners in public places can no longer be set below 27 degrees, and heating in winter is warmer than 19 degrees. In Germany, from September, hot water will be turned off in public places, and the air temperature will not exceed 19 degrees, it will be forbidden to heat corridors and foyers, as well as to turn on the lighting of buildings. Portugal is preparing to introduce a temperature limit in public places, and Croatia is going to heat firewood, the government has proposed to reduce VAT on wood": Europe is struggling to freeze to spite Putin

AC can't be set below 80 - then what's the point. Just buy russian gas
>spite
They're denying him money. That does much more than spitting him. It creates the need for innovation that will bring a future where Russian gas isn't needed anymore. The Russian government probably wants you to think that it does nothing more than spitting them but that's propaganda; they're really worried.
Won't Russia just sell their gas to a billion Chinese and a billion Indians.
step 2:
blame home owners for this shit as you bleed them dry with this artificial energy cost and force them to move into some city- cuck cages/apartments where they can enjoy all that cultural enrichment, lbbq pedos and drug addicts
i'm actually quite fond of the idea of people being forced to stop over-indulging and learning to appreciate anything at all
I'm stealing your lbbq
Shit doesn't work that way. They're buying gas from elsewhere which raises gas prices globally which means Putin is just selling the gas for an even higher price to other places.
They're just ruining the entire global economy in the hopes that Russians who have been poor for a million years will care
Yes, but the point is for Europe to become independent of Russian gas for decades to come.
So when the next Russian president decides to annex Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, half of Finland, Poland, the Czechs and the Slovaks (Hungary will have sold themselves voluntarily like the whores they are), at least we won't have an energy depedency problem in the next war.

Life is literally over in Europe, might as well dissolve and give all land to Russia at this point
I took look forward to fat Westerners getting the taste of Eastern Europe's early 1980s.
Cunts are in for a shock lol.
what is that, a huge fish and chips?
the only have one pipeline to the east which is already operating at full capacity. Europe has historically been their main customer, they can't just pivot eastwards shortterm. They have just drawn up plans to build an additional pipeline through Mongolia that will only be expected to be completed by 2030.
I think they're trying to liquify their natural gas for export as much as possible judging by reports from plants such as Portovaya thats been burning gas nonstop past week.
Yes the next European war will surely be fought with windmills
As an outsider without a dog in this fight it appears that european leaders didn't plan well. Before this year everything they did seemed based on getting rid of coal and nuclear. So until they can adjust to something other than russian gas they seem happy letting the european people suffer.
Not muh hecking fish n chipperinos
>decide to annex
Yeah, go listen to what the Americans are propagating.
Fucking polacks always causing trouble
> Americans are propagating.
250 years ago there was no America to speak of and the Russian Empire was already annexing Eastern Europe.
So everyone suffers short-term until Russia and China become independent on europe. That seems like a stable future as well. Meanwhile europeans will bake and freeze to make sure putin looks bad. I mean it's important to sacrifice everything so that ukraine is safe
>250 years ago
Damn, why don't we go the times for the Romans to make definite conclusions about modern day events?
damn straight
He who does not learn from history is bound to repeat it, yes.
>Croatia is going to heat firewood, the government has proposed to reduce VAT on wood
I'm trapped in the West's cock sucking shithole this is the most useless country ever
Well Poland has been conquered like 90 times so that doesn't seem to be working for you
