What is everyones obsession with having so called healthcare? Hospitals can't reject your treatment just because you owe money, and you can't go to jail for having medical debt. All that happens is that you got bothered by debt collectors for a bit. It doesn't even always affect your credit score, so why do people cry about this so much?

You don't understand how this works: The Treatment is actually free, the Hospital can't make you pay and can't turn you away if you have outstanding bills, it's literally against the law. It's only expensive for responsible people who don't have money. If you're responsible and you do have money, you can pay on the spot and they cut the bill drastically. If you are responsible and you have insurance, you barely pay anything. If you are responsible but you don't have insurance or cash everything is expensive, and if you're irresponsible and poor it costs you nothing.
As with most thing about "Regressive America", it's a lie to keep people from looking into it and getting outraged at how bad we actually are. We are actually the most progressive country on the planet.

I said it earlier: They don't want people to know about Bankruptcy so they paint it as the same thing as being destitute. If more people knew about bankruptcy and the fact that they can petition to court to reduce or eliminate their debt with the only penalty being a reduced credit score for 7 years and the only costs being a one-time payment of 1500 dollars, they would do it in a heartbeat and the usury industry would collapse.
