Stupid fucking take every high schooler should be required to take 4 straight years of economics because some people can’t think past one step emotional arguments. Not every job is productive enough to be a living wage. That’s reality. You can call it unfair but if you’re thirsty you probably shouldn’t try squeezing water out of a rock.
That’s because the Second World War had decimated Europes productive capacity and the rest of the world wasn’t even developed enough to have sweat shops. It was a unique point in history that greatly benefited the USA for a temporary period of time.

No it wouldn't. All it does it lowers the number of people employed. And that's what you miss about your statement too. Many of the boomers and the silent generation got their start in the job market doing simple jobs as teenagers. Such as bottle sorters, paper runs and cashier assistants. Jobs for the youth no longer exist. Of course many of them don't exist because of technology, but even so other entry jobs are done now by older workers because they are more reliable and have more skills. That's why I also said in California it doesn't work. They keep rising it and they keep calling for a higher minimum wage. They said they needed $10. Then it was $15. Soon it'll be $18 or even $20. It pushes up the wages for everyone which on paper seems great. But there's a cost. The higher wages is passed onto the consumers to pay for it. Higher prices, less service and less people employed. Ironically for many of things that libertarians are for would actually help reduce the cost of living.

Minimum wage should be based on state income levels. NY min wage doesn't need to be the same as Idaho min wage. Simple.

Funny, when I opened my business, I paid $5 over minimum no problem, because I knew minimum wage attracts minimum effort. What does a minimum wagie care if they get fired? They'll go down to one of the dozens of places around here paying the same amount and be on the job by Monday, if not tomorrow. Paying more than that means people don't want to lose their job unless they can get a better one. I've had a lot of kids cycle through on their way up, but most of them did a good job while they were here.

BUSINESS TIP; If you cannot afford to pay someone the Minimum Wage... you shouldn't have an employee and should do their work YOURSELF. If you can't, you never had a viable business to begin with so should do something else.

A lot of the big businesses that pay minimum wage are already getting charity. When all those Walmart wagies get on welfare because their job isn't paying them enough, that's government money going to supplement the corporation. They don't need to pay more because the tax payer covers them.

I don't care what anyone says, minimum wage should be $26/hr if kept up with inflation. I've made $15/hr before and if I didn't have roommates, I'd have been homeless. That should not happen in "the greatest country on Earth".

Thats why I am arguing that minimum wage is a bad thing. Small businesses cannot hire, and get crushed, and the people look for work cannot find work because nobody wants to hire

I think they should be allowed a limited 2 minute shower at work, right at the start of their shifts, along with a limited, strictly count down amount of raw soap. Then they should be provided with clean clothes for the duration of their shift.

Payment should be bread, Cheetos or any other form of high-sugar, energizing sustainance, and water/soda.

An important part of contracts should be that they have to stay at least 2 miles away from their workplace between shifts. They can lie down somewhere else

What's the point of even thinking about this? Even if 100% of the population were opposed to minimum wage, the kikes would still keep it around because it's what they want. None of these discussions matter while the kikes are still in charge, and if I were a conspiratorial man, I would wager that they want people having these kinds of kosher discussions.
