The aliens just fly around the universe dispensing mad wisdom and technology to all the lesser races, helping them join among the stars because they’re just so fucking perfect.

Predictably, thinking that humans are locked away in a maximum security space jail for being the most evil beings alive has driven these people insane.
The theory is that while the aliens are perfect, humans are not. Actually, humans are a the worse. Actually, humans are a fucking COSMIC PLAUGE. A living cancer. A galactic virus so ugly and horrible, that every alien species has agreed to shun us and enforce a universe wide quarantine. You ever hear someone say that humanity is a cancer on the planet, that we spread like a virus and that the planet would be better off without us?

That retard believes in aliens.

He also believes that if he works against horrible, corrupt, ugly humanity, the aliens will see that he's actually like them, and allow him to escape the galactic quarantine. How do you prove you're worthy to the aliens?

it should be impossible for life to evolve to sentience on an earth like planet without a hugely oversized moon. very likely because of stellar formation rates and increasing metalicity coreward, a place like the midrimward spiral arm of the milky way galaxy is among the most likely locations for complex life to form from random chemical processes.

in my opinion, only the astronomical uncertainty of a major impact creating an oversized moon late in terra's planetary formation, and related subsequent planetary impactor belts forcing repeated evolutionary resets

the moon grinds bedrock by tides freeing metals for biological chemistry. same with related biological iceage cycles. without oceanic tides and related techtonics, ice ages, comets, surface metals and oil deposits would be impossible. very likely also metastatic dead ends interrupted by periods of external climatic catastrophe is required to evolve complex neurological behavior (future planning) which lead to sentience.

however, it is about as likely that 4-10 such species exist in our galaxy at this time. as rare as terran system is, it is kind of normal around here. we may be among the first. if so, the reason we are early is because of our moon, almost certainly, being some of the best luck ever in the galaxy.
