Covid loans were an awful fuck idea as well, and are a huge contributing factor to current inflation. Almost every business in America tried to take advantage of the covid loan teat, knowing they were easily “forgiven” IE paid back using tax dollars. Hence the transfer of wealth from people to corporate business. My job gave out bonuses the loans were to lucrative, but that bonus did not offset the taxes I paid out that year. Basically the gov stole my money, gave it to my boss, and I got a fraction back.
It was stupid then and its stupid now. Biden is not “forgiving the debt” he's stealing money, even from the debt holders themselves, and giving it to the banks, Who would have gotten it anyway. But now they get a big cash advance off the back of everyone in america; rather than a slow drip from the dumbasses who hold the debt.
