Someone can file an emergency injunction, depending on the court it can be stopped or not. Ultimately going up to the supreme court to decide if its constitutional, but that could take a while. It was seen as sacred, however it's been slowly killed by underfunding, partial privatisation and bad management for years, so I think the Tories calling it "our" is a ploy to pretend they actually care about it and don't want to fully privatise it.

Its backwards here. The must unpopular things get a softer rename and the popular things get a rougher rename. So, legal immigration system becomes xenophobia. Anything popular become a phobia. Parental consent for what a school is teaching children becomes homophobia, transphobia, etc...
