Why is everyone ignoring the universities themselves? Those are the institutions which actually GOT the loan money. Many of them are super-rich, along with their administrators. Why is there ZERO demand to claw the money back from those sources? Everyone focuses on the students themselves, but they were mostly just used to funnel money from the government to the universities. I almost suspect that the loan debate is being intentionally made stupid so that people DON'T look at the role of the universities.
