The strong men hard times argument falls apart when you compare Iran and Afghanistan. Iran has had decades of peace, while Afghanistan has had decades of war. Irans literacy and IQ levels continue to climb, whilst Afghanistans literacy and IQ have plummeted. Basically the only reason the islamic world had a golden age was because warfare slowed down, and it ended due to Turk and Mongol invasions. The only reason Western Europe underwent the Enlightenment and developed the naval potential for colonialism is because it was buffered from the warfare in Balkan Europe, Spain, the Steppes and the Middle East. Japan was never colonised because it was isolated and able to adapt to new technology and information while never actually suffering war on its own shores. Basically warfare might make people more gruglike and higher T, but it makes society as a whole much stupider and is bad for humankind.

I.e it's geographic position make it geopolitically important (the great game) hence its been held in a prolonged state of war and destabilisation with only brief interludes of peace.
One such interlude was from 1930 to 1970, where Afghanistan prospered in peace and looked set to become the most advanced and prosperous country in the region but, these good times created weak men and under a communist regime the country fell apart, culminating in the Soviet invasion in 1979.

Qctually, the process of """domestication""" (progressive evolution) began long long before humankind had civilisation of any kind. It is an evolutionary pathway that is the reason why we are considerate and intelligent long lived human beings, and not dumb chimps in the jungle

Human brain sizes have been shrinking rapidly since domestication. It's probably one of the biggest long term risks for humanity, unless humans find a way to reverse the adverse effects of domestication while remaining civilized.

No they weren't. They were bred out through natural selection. Homo Sapiens evolutionarily outcompeted Neanderthals because they weren't autistic like them. If you go to wild tribes today they have stronger concepts of camradery and ethics than many modern people. For example, Finns have never been under civilisation and are genetically like ancient hunter gatherers, with huge robustiform skulls. Yet they are some of the most law abiding civic minded people in the world. You have a simplistic and idiotic understanding of both evolution and human history.
Modern day Scandinavians have been civilized for thousands of years, they are very domesticated. In fact most ancient civilizations were built by the descendants of Scandinavian/Aryan people.
