I was always thought it was a little odd that candidate Trump didn't do better in New York in 2016 and President Trump there in 2020. Many New Yorkers and others around the world see New York as his home state despite moving to Florida before entering politics.

The point is, all student loans are objectively Leonine as they all originate from government action, which means they are not in any way voluntary. The government stole the money from the people to begin with, they can't rightfully "loan" it.

It gets even more farcical when you realize these "loans" were given to people who immediately spent it on STATE colleges. The government already got our fucking money back, but now it wants its fraudulent """loan""" repaid for a second time.

In sharp contrast, Biden’s agenda was left at the mercy of Joe Manchin in the Senate and Nancy Pelosi’s skills at vote counting in a narrowly divided House.

When Biden was riding high in the 2021, he won 93 percent approval among Democrats in an early AugustQuinnipiac poll. Then came the cataclysmic withdrawal from Afghanistan, the resurgence of Covid, and the realization that the vaccines might prevent serious illness but not create herd immunity, along with the endless, seemingly futile, negotiations with Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema over Biden’s $3.5 trillion Build Back Better plan. Suddenly, instead of being hailed as a transformational president on par with FDR and LBJ, Biden was ridiculed as an over-the-hill version of Jimmy Carter.

That sneering judgment was, of course, premature.

Need Amendment saying any State whose population grows over 10 million gets split. Also very clearly affirming States rights over the feds in all matters not VERY EXPLICITLY given to the feds, and that States may never, ever, EVER violate Rights clearly assigned to the people (like the 4th Amendment protections against seizure of person like anti-abortion laws perpetrate desu)
