In the US this is essentially a flash mob type operation while the cameras are rolling. The whole idea is to "sell" to the broad public that "the current thing" is either widely unpopular or opposed by massive amounts of people. Nah these things have momentum and abortion lost it. You can't just all of a sudden breathe new life into a political issue which most people don't even remember. Abortion was always a bit nasty anyway, even people who support it out of a personal freedom perspective, or because they're terminal leftoids, feel dirty about it and Project Veritas literally arranged to buy dead and even live (!) babies from abortion "providers."
