Apparently the legacy of Calvinism in Netherlands means having measles parties for kids(kek) and denying painkillers. In such a culture, would covid be seen as a nothingburger? If so then count me in, and there's also the issue of over doing antibiotics.
Calvinist culture & vaccines
based
fuck the papists. fuck the jesuits. fuck the doctors. fuck the arminians. They are the source of all this medical tyranny.
It's less the "Legacy" of Calvinism and more just straight up Calvinism. We have a bible belt region across the country where the Reformed Church is still very popular and where they often do shit as described in OP.
>legacy of Calvinism
Well, I would say that they are more scientific than (((scientists))), I will support calvinism now
its dey culcha
>In the Netherlands, Protestants make up around 16 percent of the population and a small group of traditional Calvinists are opposed to vaccination and social distancing. Most of these believers, who live in a region known as the "Bible Belt", were never vaccinated as children and are opposed to the idea of injecting sickness into a healthy body.
Based, after lurking Any Forums for so many years you'd think that the Calvinists areas would be the most cucked/ leftist. Turns out that people who believe in pre destinations aren't exactly lefty liberals, who would have thought.
Funny enough I rarely see anti vax movements in Catholic countries. So far it's only been America and Netherlands, two countries with history of calvinism and reformed protestantism in general. Though it could more of a Germanic culture thing, getting exposed to nature.
Retarded take
I understand. Still funny to think about "measles parties", apparently there was something similar in the US back in the old days " Pox parties" . I do wish we had a similar approach to Covid 19. Lefties are obsessed with being in control. Destroying the economy and shutting everything down, all for reasssurance. They can't imagine that they can't control everything, maybe that's what's diferent in Calvinist culture, I don't know.
I knew a self hating American tradcath would stumbly here eventually.
Interesting. I was a bit skeptical to vaccines before I started moving in a Calvinist direction but then mostly because they may contain abortion derived material. I extremely skeptical now, even against old vaccines.
> More than half (53 per cent) of the readers of the Dutch daily Reformatorisch Dagblad say they don’t want a vaccine against the coronavirus. This was the result of a survey conducted in April among 4,000 subscribers of the newspaper and RD.nl.
Tradcaths btfo

Look, everyone, it's another thread where christians argue and ask if they can have the honor of touching each others dicks
>touching dicks
That sounds absurdly jewish. Reminder that jews are schizos and walking diseases. Don't project your perversion onto others.
Vaccines literally modify our genes. Everyone acts as if they are not aware of this and as if it does not affect our genetic pool and our offspring permanently.
Forcing our body's natural genes to change artificially is the worst mistake we've ever made.
Nobody wants to know or accept the genetic disaster that we have caused in our species since the first human was injected with a vaccine
When my friend came down with chickenpox, my mother took me to him so I'd get it.
She's catholic, and it served me just fine.
>GMO crops from crossbreeding plants:
OH MY GODDD!!! I ONLY EAT 100% ORGANIC AND PURE FOOD!!
>GMO humans from changing their DNA with experimental shots
Yasss queen! Gibs me dat!
the fuck is wrong with people
measles parties were common in america too, because it made sense: the sooner your children got it, the less severe it was. Also, non-Christian countries also heavily restrict the use of painkillers because they're addiction forming and not necessary in the vast majority of cases (ie. Japan).
It may have something to due with a culture’s stance on how life is and should be. Cultures that are more worried about shielding children from the real world will be more prone to having these “parties”, but I do notice that anti vaxx is just not ad prominent in Catholic areas compared to Protestant, even here in America
Im 27 and we did this
