Ever since I got covid a year ago, poop smells totally different. Like it's an entire new smell unto itself and I can't compare it to anything. Meat smells very similar now. Basically meat smells like poop to me, and vice versa. I think covid may have had a lateral intention of forcing people to stop eating meat. Virally enforced veganism.
Ever since I got covid a year ago, poop smells totally different...
I was expecting a german flag honestly.
My mate got his sense of smell fucked up by covid for like 6 months then some hippy bitch fixed it in one session. I dont really believe any new age shit but it raised an eyebrow.
You shouldn't have that a year after the fact. Are you taking zinc supplements?
First bout with C-19, chicken and fresh cucumbers smelled wrong for 4 months for me, didn't know about zinc at the time. Second round, the only thing that changed in taste was my cigarettes, which started tasting like roast peanuts, p. awesome actually, asymptomatic otherwise, and only lasted a week.
So yeah take zinc. 25mg is adequate for most. That'll get your sniffer back in order.
I do still have it. Yes I take zinc daily, and have for years. I'm also not vaxxed
Huh, that's odd. You might have some kind of more permanent damage, or a latent uncleared infection even.
Do you smoke cigs? If not, do an experiment and smoke a couple. Also, weed might be worth trying, it makes food smell/taste better for most folks.
Weirdly enough, the only thing that changed for me was the smell of my own body odor. Everything else went back to normal, but my armpits now smell like garlic or something. Its not quite garlic but its close. Strangely enough, the smell is close enough to garlic that it makes me hungry. Im not trolling, my armpits smell appetizing. Its bizzare.
Had some flu like shit start of the month, lasted a couple days but i can't taste much anymore. Is annoying fancy some really tasty food and it don't taste of anything.
Not poop, but my pee has been smelling strange for the past few months.
Very difficult to describe it.
Peanut butter changed for me. It's not bad, but it's not the same.
I also can't smell my shit. Like it is so much less noticeable now.
I know many people with the same sort of problems. Makes me wonder if rona was a sort of gene mutating virus.
My poop doesn't smell but it used to float. Ever since i got COVID, it now sinks to the bottom. It's not really a problem, however it means something has changed in my body. It's been months.
>poop smells totally different
are you sure about that. maybe smell some more poo to confirm. poo from different people as well, maybe it's just jour own poop that changed not the smell of poop in general
After covid in 2020 i don't feel smell of mea at all, unless i stick my face into it. And the air outside doesn't smell like anything anymore, even after rain. Anything else seems to be the same.
>poop smells totally different
>yes I take zinc daily
literally describes a zinc overdose lmao
Take a bite of an onion and cook some orange peels on a pan and eat them to reset your nose goblins.
im not eating onions
user I'm sorry but it sounds like covid gave you brain damage, I also lost my sense of smell for about a week before it came back slowly but surely, you'll have to retrain your olfactory system to pick up on finer scents; also stop smelling your own shit for fucks sake
This
>scoot under public bathroom stalls while sniffing deeply
>briefly explain your situation to anyone you find in a stall pooping
>"It's okay, I had COVID, so my armpits smell like garlic"
my poop has a kinda grape accord to the smell now. not good. recovered now but that smell is disgusting. what's it about?
Your sense of smell is fucked up. No worries, it is a common affect from getting COVID.
I had it too. My sense of smell & taste was fucked, but it eventually returned after a month or so.
on the dry down, there's an overtone of violet perhaps mixed with fig.
What if it didn't fully return?
