Yes. The theory never had a strong basis. In the late 80’s / early 90’s some Jews realized they could push black culture on whites if they convinced whites that their ancestors were black. So they started digging in Africa until they managed to find an old humanoid fossil and called it “proof” we evolved in Africa
Since then we’ve found fossils 5x older in Australia. A rational mind would suggest we evolved in Australia and spread out from there. But modern “science” isn’t rational. It clings to narratives until they aren’t politically useful.
