The war in ukraine is extremely worrying because our whole MSM and propaganda apparatus has done what they usually do with the lies they really want you to believe, they went from recognizing ukraine for the shithole of corruption and nazism that it is to pretending it's some sort of bastion of democracy and globalism, so my guess is they really care about it and are not willing to let it go, for some reason it's really really important that us ignorant plebeans care about ukraine
Russia of course won't let it go either, so what will happen here? what if russia mobilizes and starts raizing ukraine to the ground, how would we respond? If we do nothing, we're seen as extremely weak after all this posturing and promises we're making, if we do anything WWIII starts, so what the fuck is going to happen? any valuable insight to prepare for the future?
Is it plausible for russia to just stop the invasion, or for us to intervene without escalating to world war? what do losing nations usually do when the situation is so charged?
All the easily accessible fossil fuels and ores have been mined, and continued extraction depends on a great degree of expertise and capital.
