Couple days ago when I was on a bus I saw a group of 5 kids who were all first graders.
4 of them had smartphones and were glued to watching tiktok. While one of them only had a Doro Cellphone. (which is an old-schol dumbphone meanst for elderly).
What do you think about gen-alpha kids that young being glued to TikTok and what do you think will happen to the few kids who had responsible parents who did not give them a smartphone?

I learned strategy, new vocabulary, planning, and other real world knowledge and skills. We reflect what we consume. Kids today consume retarded shit and thots on tiktok and youtube. Assembling a pc is the easiest thing in the world. Basic math to make sure you don't exceed your power supply and just checking what hardware is compatible with your ports or vice versa. Nothing too it.

I think you're missing a big part of the reality. Kids back then played maybe 1-4 hours tops on games for the most part, and then also were encouraged to "go outside and play". The ~3 hours daily playing pokemon or the 8 hours of halo on the weekend at a friends house still does not compare to the 12 hour per day everyday that kids nowadays spend online; these kids dont even have friends irl to play with or go outside at all until like age 14
Dont even bother with a pc unless you are using it for work/research. You will just play games or other life wasting activities.

Oddly enough, since technology has become so much or accessible and retard proof in recent years, many of them are completely tech illiterate despite spending their entire lives on smartphones. there's this google parental advisor app. If you want your kid to have smartphone, but don't use social media or have it limited - it is an option. You can also set time limits on all apps and installing them has to be approved by parents.
