There is a massive difference between someone who actually goes out and does something actionable to stop pedophiles versus a closet pedo on Any Forums that starts a fanfic about Wayfair trafficking children for sex because of the way their inventory system works.

Making up theories about children being raped doesn't accomplish anything. It is a hobby. If thinking about little kids getting raped is your hobby, you are a pedophile. Changing the millieu from online furniture resellers to secret underground bunkers is simply an effort to keep the core topic engaged.

Spent a whole weekend on the phone with the NCMEC because I found a comment thread exchanging whatsapp numbers/emails saying 'I have pics and vids of niece' like, as I was on the phone more comments were being posted.

Yelled at the guy on the phone 'why is it that people like me can find these, and you can't?'

A few days later disney pulled a bunch of ads from a ton of YT vids in connection with these comment threads.

I agree with you in a lot of this- just posting theories and random 'fanfics'(Good name) doesn't help anything when there's actual predators out there, easily findable.
