Why are Democrats voting for Trump?

Of course they can't say anything in public, but tons of democrats are going to give their votes to the republicans this cycle (I bet they are even afraid to say so in polls because they are terrified of the leftist extremist and paranoid its a "loyalty test"). Its the only way they have to get the party leadership to pay attention to them.
It is going to put the DNC in a tough place when 40% of democrats vote republican, they are going to have to try and sell a 250% turnout to try and cover their fake votes.

Exactly, those who have left the democrat party don't see themselves as Republicans but they definitely do not see themselves as aligning with the current Democrat party. So they are independents leaning more and more towards Trump daily.

You are right, the percentage of people polled who are claiming to be independent has grown significantly. It could be the "new left" or an "alternative left" position of trying to maintain the moral high ground by not choosing the democrat party or republican party. There are now more independents than democrats.

That reminds me, back before the 2020 election, I went online to check my party registration, and I was surprised to find out I was registered as an Independent. Apparently, I registered as such back in 2007 when I was 18, because even though I was planning on voting Democrat, I thought I was being "open-minded" or something. Anyway, I saw no reason to change my party registration, because meh.

I'm an independent, but really the trannycrat party has to do a complete 180 before I would consider voting for any of them again.
I have no loyalty to republicans, because at least 50% of them are compromised as well, but at least their official platform isn't chemically castrating as many children as possible in a futile attempt to turn them into the wrong sex.

The only means mainstream democrats have to make their party leadership move back towards the center. A humiliating defeat will force them to assess the reason for their loss and admit even the vast majority OF THEIR OWN PARTY doesn't want full blown socialism, they want a return to traditional democrat policies which while liberal are far from socialism.

Yeah, so you are more of a true independent, someone whose "ideology" for lack of a better word, doesn't fit into either party. Which makes sense, two parties wont fit everyone. As the Democrat party gets more restrictive, liberals whose personal ideology doesn't fit with the democrat party become independents as well. Its a human rights violation. Children must be allowed to develop naturally as themselves to adulthood, THEN they can make their own decisions. Anything else is child abuse.

It's smart, because people who feel left behind by the Democrats can unite in one voice come Nov 8th. It's a way for centrists to shut up extreme leftists.

It will end up being a good thing. Democrats are going to force their establishment to listen to and represent them, just as the "Red MAGA" people are currently doing with the republican establishment. Both parties will be forced to put forth better candidates that represent their voters, there will be real political competition again, real debate, the uniparty will die. The "liberal world order" (CHINA) will lose its foothold in America, then Europe.

I totally agree. As well I have heard a few Trump endorsed candidates say that they had democrats walk up to them on the street and say that they were going to vote for them. I didn't really understand it at first because in the media leftists seem like lunatics. But in reality a good portion of them are centrists or just left of center.
