Why did that style of obnoxious hyperaggressive internet atheism that was popular circa 2007-2013 or so die off so suddenly?

They've became muslim

It was murdered by "faces of atheism" reddit campaign, when it turned out they are all fedora wearing neckbeards

The Fedora meme killed internet atheism. Arguably the most successful meme of all time.

Atheism won the power game in the public consciousness, christians this season are trying to make a comeback but they don't understand that modern man can physically not even understand god, you read ancient theologians and church fathers, and modern contemporaries and it's like a longsword to a butcher knife

Everyone trooned out

atheism was a big meme because the general public was just discovering that god is dead
now we're just used to it

Theologians decimated all of them effortlessly

Because only complete brainlets who are incapable of logical thought believe in god in current year. The snarky and condescending manner makes you seem almost heroic when done in the face of oppressive institutions and cultural hegemony, but that isn't really the case anymore for religion in most places. Now it would be like acting that way towards a mentally retarded person, which is a little undignified, so the trend died out.

If you look in reddit comments, it is all still there...

bananas

the amazing faggotist

Because they realized that the near-death experience refutes their dogma. I mean sure, will your average atheist be convinced that there is an afterlife after reading the bible?

LMAO, no.

But they will be after reading this book as it is by far the most compelling book on near-death experiences (NDEs) according to the actual experts in the field:

amazon.com/Why-Afterlife-Obviously-Exists-Realer-Than-Real/dp/1785359851/

It makes a huge deal about the fact that near-death experiencers (NDErs) are representative of the population as a whole, and that when people go deep into the NDE, they all become convinced. As this article points out:

psychologytoday.com/us/blog/mysteries-consciousness/202204/does-afterlife-obviously-exist

>"Statistics collected ... show that the "deeper" the NDE ... the greater the percentage of those who come away certain of the existence of the afterlife. Among those with the deepest experiences ... 100 percent came away agreeing with the statement, "An afterlife definitely exists"."

Since NDErs are representative of the population as a whole, and they are all convinced, then 100% of the population become convinced that there is an afterlife when they have a sufficiently deep NDE themselves. And so would you, me, or anyone, including the most dogmatic atheists and skeptics, because it is VASTLY more self-evidently real than this puny little experience of life on Earth we have now. When you dream and wake up, you immediately realize that life is more real than your dream. When you have an NDE, the same thing is happening, but on a higher level, as you immediately realize that life is the deep, deep dream and the NDE world is the real world.

So unlike the bible that you desperately have to want to be convinced by to stand the slightest chance of being convinced by it, this book will convince you whether you want it to or not.

>people who almost die cope with the shock of discovering their mortality

Atheism is a dead end; the human mind evolved to crave rituals and gods and spirits. It's not enough to criticize christkikes and pisslams you have to offer something better in their place otherwise it's just screeching. Autistic screeching.

No it didn't. Most millennials had already become atheists by 2013, and a lot of them turned into SJWs. In the beginning internet atheism was kind of a counter culture. Now it had become mainstream. So nobody cared anymore. And by then SJW-ism, rather than religion was the new dogmatic ideology that everyone (including internet atheists) were ripping on.

Yes memeflag...that's why your movement died, because it was the best. LMAO

You're young, you're dumb, you think you know it all. You get hit hard by life, you realize some folks you were taking as models are actually lost, you realize you yourself are lost. You get more humble, you question yourself. You're not an atheist anymore.

Just a liberal fag like the rest.

Science proves that 100% of the universe is conscious, just like humans, and that conscious happens to be clowns that competitively rape children. Yes, there is an afterlife, but it consists 100% of clowns brutally raping children for eternity, because otherwise it would be transphobic which is physically impossible since bigotry is wrong.

>The only question is "Are you a clown, or a child?"
