(In multiple of their videos they have claimed to have found cars with bodies within less than an hour, even after police divers have searched the area. I didn't really believe it, but now we have proof that private autist are more proficient than trained professionals.)

Presumably these guys are better at it and had better equipment and better understanding of it. Who knows what instructions the cops were actually given, to be fair. Maybe they weren't really trying because they're corrupt, or maybe they just figured they wouldn't find anything and got what they were looking for. Getting lots of people and equipment and searching for a long time also actually means retards doing nothing for a long time, compared with just letting some guys with know-how do what they want with their equipment.
All it takes is ruling out the area too easily to waste everyone's time and money.

You can be denied a job as a police officer for doing to well at the required IQ test. That should tell you all you need to know.
