If you were already carrying debt at a fixed rate, the money you're paying it back with has less purchasing power. Ex: my car payment is the same number of dollars it was 3 years ago but those dollars are worth less now. People with variable rate loans gonna get fucked though.

When inflation hits just right and inflation is in your salary contract, this means that people spend more and feel like they have more. It's just in the head, but it was a really nice thing to have. Before my country adopted the €€€ we had such a controlled inflation and it felt great. Then we curbed it for the €€€ and once we switched things never were the same again.

The inflation is not being caused by citizens. It is being caused by the thieves in government who have a monopoly on money. That's the issue. It'll be one thing if we were producing more money ourselves, but we're not. We use money to exchange for goods and services. The government exists only to steal and inflate the money supply. They're the culprit. And no there is no silver lining other than the citizens abandoning the dollar for a more stable currency.

if minimum wage kept pace with inflation since the 70s then it would be at about $20-$24 an hour already.

Sneed's Feed & Seed (formerly Chuck's). Also, "Bart's Fart & Shart" doesn't make any sense because the store wasn't called "Feed & Sheed" under Sneed's ownership so stop posting it.

It's rather funny isnt it

>number go up
incredible, thanks!
oh wait I'm in a higher tax bracket now..?
