It's a perfect right angle L-shape of coloured pixels. It's a jpeg glitch. Also note other similar pixel coloured square nearby. Also note the jagged, perfect cut-out edges where the black meets the land. These images were not taken on the moon, and the "sky" has been artificially darkened.
