This is where all the problems arise. Literally all of them. People are raised under the impression that they are owed a sort of partner later in life. People assume romance is an entitlement and then realize there's no reason to "play nice" if their predisposed entitlements aren't met.

Women don’t need men for support anymore so they just get divorced. Also people have casual sex with no risk of pregnancy so they don’t really believe in romance. There are rich playboys out there who sleep with a new women every few days but have no children. Giving humans access to free sex has really disrupted our natural life cycle and keeps them trapped in adolescence, refusing to become parents. It also means they have no real commitments and nothing to sacrifice for. Very little stake in the future because they’re only thinking about themselves.
