it saddens me to note that my fellow Any Forums tards have not experienced the vast wealth and beauty of the great composers. Great men of history, Hitler included, would have never listened to such trash.
Neurologists have confirmed that our minds are less active when watching TV then they are when we are asleep, and more active when we listen to music (or read), then they are when flying a jet fighter. We know that music, especially classical music, when played for young children causes thier brains to grow at incredible rates, creating hundreds of millions of new neurological connections. Music and literature are more then just enjoyable pastimes, they create the keenest, most creative, and most intelligent people of our species.
To have spend your life, and not have listened (yes you must listen, and not just "hear"), to the great classical composers is a vast waste of your potential.
Truth and beauty walk hand in hand, they are husband and wife. So go get a glass of your favourite beverage, and find a quiet place, sit back and actively LISTEN to the great composers. Take a break from this open sewer, and allow your mind to grow.
