I'm an oldfag and I remember having anti-bush generals as well as pro-communist generals.
Back in 2004, Any Forums was overwhelmingly communist and leftist because of Bush.
Internet users were very intelligent and saw that republicans were super racist and evil and just wanted to kill brown people.
Then moot, that evil white bastard, decided to start banning and censoring moderators who believed in free speech and a place for communists to talk about the 2008 financial crisis. Any Forums was probably funded by altright bankers who didn't want organized anti-capitalist movements in 2008.

I'm a newfag who started browsing in 2010 and even though I was on other boards by the time /new/ was gone and Any Forums was all that remained, it always felt like the stormfags were the equivalent of wimp lo or some shit. we trained them wrong as a joke type stuff. but then 2016 came around and the tourist traffic spike happened and it was game over, you had an entire generation of newfags who unironically believe that the holocaust didn't happen.

Any Forums hasn't changed one bit. it's one of a few places that has maintained its culture. it's just that leftists only see ideology as a defining trait and Any Forums has moved, fluidly, through different ideologies to perform their main interest so this is confusing to leftists.
