Absolutely deranged take. Trump was the off-script candidate, he wasn't even supposed to get the nomination. His success in the election was due precisely to this fact, and would later contribute to his failures as a President.
Let's go back to 2016. It's her "turn," and the Democrat's when to great lengths to ensure she would be the party nominee. Reference the 2016 DNC and the drama with Debbie Wasserman Shultz. Not to be outdone, the Republicans were pushing Jeb Bush as the "clear" choice for a presidential nominee. The Republicans grossly underestimates the increasing influence of reactionary members within the party; after two decades of right-wing impotence, people had had enough.
Along comes Trump, who has no qualms about calling people degenerates, fat pigs, or disgraceful nipple-protruders. His expressed views on border security, overseas wars, taxes are all based. More salesman than politician, he quickly recognized and tapped into the electorate's frustrations and used them to propel himself to the nomination and, when Hillary and her team grossly underestimated him, the Oval Office.
Once in office, Trump realized he'd rather be one of the gang than "drain the swamp" and so we see many of the compromises that frustrated his base. However, no matter how much of his soul he sold off to the cabal, his mere existence was contrary to their plans and so they aligned the entirety of forces against him for four years. "Trusted Advisors," fact checkers, media moguls, for four years they did everything they could to make sure he was unelectable.
Unwilling to risk even the possibility of another upset, TPTB simply rigged the election and installed a literal corpse as president. It's been a weekend at bernie's since Jan 2020 and is only going to get worse from here.
I hope you at least took the opportunity between 2016-2020 to stock up on weapons and ammo, and buy some cheap land.
