The Dugin assassination/attempt is a warning by a rival faction of Russian glowniggers. Putins attack on Ukraine is a disaster and even if he actually wins in the end it will have made Russia weaker. This show of weakness is embolding rivalling factions who are dissatisfied with Putins performance and possibly the beginning of a power struggle that might throw Russia into disarray or even civil war down the line.

More likely than Ukraine doing it, tho ive said it before, this man was most likely only targeted because he had the perfect fame to vulnerability ratio, influential but not enough to require 24/7 protection
